The Challenge was to design a holiday home on a plantation. This site chosen was on the top of a hill from where one gets maximum views and air movement. The final design delivered maximum views of the cliff side. The rooms are all arranged in order to get maximum views. Living, Dining and the Kitchen are all connected with each other creating a more active space. A courtyard is placed near the middle to bring in more natural light and to make spaces in tune with nature.

The challenge was to create the impression of openness without compromising privacy. The house is also south facing hence it will be exposed to the sun throughout. The solution was simple, a huge overhanging roof with a single slope toward the south is provided. This enables to the installation of the solar panels on the roof. Taping uninterrupted solar energy is one of the major requirements put forth by the client. The entire house is run on solar power.

The brief was simply to create an extension which housed a bedroom and party area. The simple solution proposed was to have the bedroom on top and the party area at the bottom, which had to be connected to the landscape. Hence the party area was made semi-open.
The first floor houses a walk-in closet, bathroom and the main bed area. The interior is designed in a luxurious, minimalistic style, the Tall windows provide a sense of connectivity to the outside, and The materials chosen depict richness and luxury. The design also emphasises flowy lines as it is accented by brass.
